☘️ About Us ☘️

Mental health difficulties don't always require emergency care — but they do require timely attention.

Established in July 2025, FCK Innovations Ltd is a private urgent mental health access clinics provider supported by mental-health access membership system based in Galway, Ireland. We exist to provide a responsive, professionally grounded pathway for people seeking quicker access to medical support for mental health concerns Nationally.

Who We Are

FCK Innovations was founded by Dr. Faraz Khan, MD, a Registered Medical Practitioner with over ten years of experience working in Irish public mental health services, including crisis, acute, and community care settings. Dr. Khan has developed an in-depth understanding of how the mental health system operates, the impacts of delayed access to care, and the practical supports people most benefit from in urgent situations.

Through years of direct clinical work within the HSE, Dr. Khan observed significant systemic barriers — especially lengthy wait times and capacity constraints — affecting timely access to care. This inspired him to create a new model of immediate, structured mental health access for those in need.

Dr. Khan has undertaken postgraduate clinical training and extensive supervised experience in psychiatry within the Irish public mental health system. Worked through practical roles in mental health crisis, community mental health teams, and emergency department settings. He is a well-known and respected clinician in Galway and the wider region for his commitment to responsive care.

Our Professional Foundation

FCK Innovations Ltd operates as a fully registered Irish medical practice with a comprehensive combined indemnity policy covering employer, public, product, treatment, and medical malpractice liabilities. Through demonstration of competence and experience, Dr. Khan has secured this medical indemnity cover that enables him to practice privately as a Registered Medical Practitioner in Ireland. This combined indemnity is a breakthrough for Republic of Ireland. It's the only one that exists, created exclusively for the purpose of helping people of Ireland achieve a future with Mental Wellness.

This regulatory and insurance framework reflects our commitment to high standards of professional accountability, safety, and quality care.

What Makes Us Unique

We are one of the first private urgent mental health access services in Ireland designed specifically to bridge the gap between overwhelmed public services and the need for timely, medically informed support.

Our approach is grounded in practical experience and a deep understanding of:

  • Mental health system pathways
  • Clinical risk awareness and early intervention principles
  • Collaborative care and coordination with GPs and community mental health teams (CMHT)

Rather than providing specialist psychiatric diagnosis or long-term specialist therapy, our service focuses on urgent clinical access, assessment, and appropriate next steps, helping clients navigate the best pathway forward.

A Vision Rooted in Practical Impact

FCK Innovations does not provide specialist psychiatric services and does not replace consultant-led care. Specialist Psychiatric Services led by consultants are in abundance, unfortunately they remain overwhelmed and under-resourced. This is where FCK Innovations takes the lead.

FCK Innovations is committed to thinking differently, acting responsibly, and supporting people across Ireland who need immediate, medically supervised mental health access when traditional pathways are delayed or inaccessible. We are dedicated to creating better clinical pathways and service models that improve access, outcomes, and continuity of care.

We are proud to be Irish-born, professionally anchored, and community-focused — working with individuals, families, GPs, and existing psychiatric services to deliver care that is timely, respectful, and clinically grounded.

Our Commitment

We operate within a clearly defined scope of practice, prioritizing patient safety, ethical care, and appropriate referrals. Our aim is to reduce distress, provide timely access to care, and support people through gaps in an overstretched system.
