☘️ Our Mission and Care Delivery ☘️
At FCK Innovations Ltd., we are on a mission to change the way Ireland responds to its growing mental health crisis. While Ireland is home to highly trained, world-class mental health specialists, the system they operate in is overwhelmed. Thousands of individuals are left waiting—sometimes for months—to access the care they urgently need. These delays are not due to lack of expertise, but rather a shortage of capacity in an overstretched system.
We believe that when it comes to mental health, every minute matters.
The long waiting times for mental health care are costing lives, stability, and well-being. Early intervention is key, and for many, that means speaking to someone right away—not after weeks or months.
Unfortunately, specialist trainees cannot be relied upon to fill the gap, as their time is rightly protected for essential training, they are restricted by European weekly working time directive, they work beyond their capacity to fulfill their training log book and examinations which requires up to 3 weeks off, this repeats several times during the training—crucial for the future of Irish healthcare.
Irish GPs are overwhelmed to begin with. There is a shortage of GP's in Ireland. GPs usually end up taking mental health consultations and they honestly prefer not to. The end result is that they send people to emergency department as well. Everyone is restricted. There is a very high number of GP referrals to the emergency department. This is on top of all the referrals to the community mental health services.
This is where FCK Innovations Ltd. steps in.
With over 10 years of experience within the Irish Mental Health System, we bring practical understanding and a bold, creative approach. Our goal is to deliver innovative pathways and immediate support solutions that help bridge the gap between people in crisis and the professionals who can help them.
We're harnessing the power of technology, collaboration, and AI-driven tools to create real-time, accessible solutions that complement existing services and reduce the pressure on clinical teams—while putting the needs of the Irish people first.
We believe the time for change is now.
We believe no one should wait to be heard.
We believe Ireland deserves a mental health system that works.
